The Cartoon Cat and Molly's Nightmares Limited Edition Silk Screened Prints

I'm attempting to fund three LIMITED EDITION fine art prints of my art. Check out my Kickstarter campaign to participate. Rewards for those who invest in the project will include the following items:

"THE CARTOON CAT" Pink Version: Hand-printed 6-color silk screen printed on a heavy 140 lb. paper stock by master printer Joe Joe Herbick at Family Industries in Los Angeles. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist Frank Forte with a thumbprint on the back for authentication. This artwork will be a limited edition print run of only 100 copies (60 of which will be given to Kickstarter backers of the project). The other copies will be sold at art galleries and on the Internet for $100 each.

The Cartoon Cat Pink Version

"THE CARTOON CAT" Blue Version: Same specs as the Pink Version above including artist signature, number, and thumbprint. It will be a limited edition print run of only 100 copies (60 of which will be given to Kickstarter backers of the project). The other copies will be sold at art galleries and on the Internet for $100 each.

"MOLLY'S NIGHTMARES": Hand-printed 4-color silk screen printed on a heavy 140 lb. paper stock by master printer Joe Joe Herbick at Family Industries in Los Angeles. The other copies will be sold at art galleries and on the Internet for $100 each.

Molly's Nightmares

For the purists, the printer has assured me that the sequential numbering we used reflects the actual order the prints were completed.

There are 10 "Artist Proofs" uniques that may be offered as bonus rewards.

In addition to the Limited Edition Hand Silk Screened Prints, we are offering unlimited OPEN EDITION Laser Prints of the art for lower prices. The laser prints come in two sizes: 8.5" x 11" and 12" x 18". These are also signed by artist Frank Forte (with thumbprint on the back).

I'd really like to see this exciting project get funded! For more information, go to my Kickstarter page.

Laluzapalooza 2015

The 29th Annual Group Show

March 6 - 29, 2015
Opening Reception: Friday, March 6, 8:00 - 11:00 PM

Location: 4633 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027

La Luz De Jesus Gallery proudly presents our annual juried group exhibition, LALUZAPALOOZA. This gigantic, no-theme show features works from some of the freshest and most relevant artists working today. Last year we sorted through 16,000 submissions from commercial illustrators, graphic designers, tattooists, scenics, students, street taggers, animators and working gallery artists.

How many will we see this year? Past shows have featured as many as 330 pieces and as few as 100, making this the most exclusive selection of tastefully, jam-packed, salon-style exhibited works in Post-Pop. There will be some familiar names from our ever-growing roster of feature artists, but an overwhelming percentage of the work this year will come from a brand new batch of previously undiscovered, emerging talent. Will you be a patron of the next great generation?
